Who we are

We, "Continuous Improvement" are a team of six (6) Information professionals who are currently undertaking post graduate degree in Information Systems at Nanyang Technological University. Here, we target to contribute our knowledge on evaluating research methodologies in published papers. Anyone who would like to perceive knowledge in research method may find it worthwhile to read.

Aye Myat Nandy

Hello! I am Nandy. I graduated my bachelor and honour degree in Computer Sciences in University of Computer Studies, Yangon (UCSY) in Myanmar.  

I started my career as a web developer as well as software engineer from 2004 to 2011 in Myanmar. With the knowledge I gained from my University and working experiences in Myanmar, I joined Raptech Pte Ltd in 2011 in Singapore as a software engineer till present date. Now, I am studying my post grad MSc Information Systems part-time in NTU.

My passion is continuous learning and sharing with the people. In this blog, I hope I can share my knowledge about research methods and data analysis for information professionals.

Aye Thiri Kyaw

Hello, I'm Aye Thiri Kyaw (Carena). I am currently taking MSC Information Systems programme at Nanyang Technological University. In year 2014, I finished my Bachelor of Sicence in Cyber Forensics, Information Security & Management and Business Information Systems (Double Major) from Murdoch University. I did finished diploma in Information Technology from Temasek Polytechnic (2008-2010) as well.

Being a System Analyst in Automotive industry, I analyse the operational areas which need the technologies’ help in order to meet the business goals and advise the suitable and feasible IT systems to those areas. In Earlier years, I was software developer at local software company and in charge of developing the online hotel booking channel to improve individual's booking experiences.

Over the years, I found my passion which is to enhance human's everyday lives powered by Technology. This is the opportunistic moment of my life to contribute my knowledge in producing quality research work and pursuing right research theories and methodologies through this blog post. I would be grateful if this can be any help to your research work.

Chit Su San Thi

Hi, I'm Chit Su San Thi. Currently, I'm studying MSc (Information System) programme under Wee Kim Wee School of Information and Communication at Nanyang Technological University. I'm sure my knowledge will significantly improve after this programme.

In 2014, I graduated Bachelor of Engineering (Information Technology) from Technological University (Thanlyin) in Myanmar. Throughout taking Bachelor Degree in my home country, I was learning Java Programming Language. After my graduation, I could grasp a chance to join Professional Diploma in Java Programming under India-Myanmar Centre for Enhancement of Information Technology Skills (IMCEITS) for six months. Online Mental Healthcare System Project was developed with another eight team members during taking Diploma.

As technology is improving rapidly, I need to do lifelong learning. Besides developing software or website, ability to do research is also necessary. I hope this blog will give you knowledge and information.

Hello! My name is Nway Sin Kyaw @ Hazel.

I am a MSc. Information Systems student at NTU and working as a Project Manager at NirvaSoft Pte Ltd.
Learning and Teaching is my hobby and Research is my passion.
Currently my focus is on Research Methods and Data Analysis especially to investigate human thoughts and behavior.

Sanya Sekhar

Hey there Sanya here. I attained my B.Eng (Hons) in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from Nanyang Technological University (NTU) and am currently back here pursuing my Msc in Information Systems. 

Professionally I have 3 years of experience in the Financial Services Industry focusing on Service Level Management involving Vendors, Compliance and Risk Management and Stakeholder Management.

My passion is Yoga and I am a certified Yoga teacher and teach yoga at multiple centers in Singapore on a freelance basis. I love teaching and my students on something I love. Life is a one time offer, use it well. :) 

Yee Mon Oo

Hey! I’m Yvonne. I graduated from Temasek Polytechnic, the place that equipped me with vast IT knowledge. I got my bachelor's degree from Murdoch University majored in Cyber Forensics, Information Security & Management and Business Information Systems. Currently, I am a MSc Information Systems candidate at NTU.

I joined Adept Health Pte Ltd in 2012 as IT Executive and I was in charge of the development of healthcare insurance system. Now, I am working as a software engineer at Brightsword Technologies Pte Ltd, managing healthcare insurance systems and school management systems.

My passion is to help people achieve their business goals and I find that my academic knowledge has been a big help. Here, I hope to share my knowledge relates to Research Methods.
